			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>You&#039;ll notice that Sony themselves don&#039;t support XP with that model.<br />If the manufacturer doesn&#039;t have a XP driver, finding a workable driver elsewhere will be like finding a needle in a haystack.</p><p>Upgrade to Win7 and call it a day.&nbsp; You&#039;ll be much happier.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Manually update the driver in Windows Device Manager<br /> (Update Driver - Install from Disk - Don&#039;t Search - Have Disk).<br />&nbsp; Ensure any important data is backed up first.<br />Restart Windows.</p><p>If that doesn&#039;t work, uninstall that driver using Add/Remove Programs.<br />Manually try the drivers (Device Manager)one at a time in DP_SoundB_wnt5_x86-32_1111\D\S\I or I8, Im, In, or Ip.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Running the setup.exe displays this error.</p><p><span class="postimg"><img src="http://s10.postimage.org/afojya5jt/error.png" alt="http://s10.postimage.org/afojya5jt/error.png" /></span></p><p>I also tried to right click STWnRT.INF and click install which I think worked but I see a Windows Service named SigmaTel Audio Service that cannot start.</p><p>It displays an error indicating the service started and then stopped. Some services stop automatically <br />if they are not in use by other services or programs.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>So you&#039;re saying that you tried the driver from Sony <a href="http://www.sony.co.uk/support/en/product/VGN-AR71S/downloads/Preinstalled_Drivers_3445">here</a> and it didn&#039;t work?</p><p>The .inf has XP indicators in it.</p>]]></content>
