Hi all experts,
I am soon planning to buy Asus X54C Laptop. I has 500GB, pentium dual-core and DOS OS pre-installed.

Now here are some specific questions:

1) Is it 64-bit or 32-bit?

2) Irrespective, can I install XP over it? (Please note I prefer XP because I am comfortable with it, I have a licensed copy and all my old softwares can run on it).

3) I am not an computer expert. Can you please tell me:
a) how can I go about installing XP on it (steps please)?
b) Do I have to make a separate partition to prior installing XP?
c) Do need to keep DOS in another partition while installing?
d) Can I completely remove DOS and the partition later?

4)Finally, once I install XP, where will I find the drivers (any specific site for the particular model) . Though I saw that there was a driver CD along with the pack - is it sufficient to give me all the drivers required or do I have to find different drivers suitable for XP?

6) What about the sound, internet and mother board drivers -where can I get them for this particular model - they all will be present in the driver CD and compatible with XP?

Thanks so much in advance in reading my first post and hopefully responding! :-)
