			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>that cdob post is interesting...&nbsp; It got me thinking</p><br /><p>He loaded it as a busdriver ... i bet that gets rid of most of the extranious entries if done that way.</p><p>mark the USB drivers as &quot;busExtenders&quot; (especially if they really are)</p><p>Q:What does the entry &quot;ms_1_isBusExtender&quot; mean?<br />A:The &quot;ms_1_isBusExtender&quot; entry specifies wether the driver is a bus extender or not.<br />Q:How can I find out if my driver is a bus extender?<br />A:Open the .inf files which should be included in the driver. Look for a line similar to the following:<br />LoadOrderGroup = System Bus Extender<br />If that line is present then your driver is a busextender.</p><p>OF course i will still have to deal with the wdf coinstaller thing... for now we can make people slipstream the hotfix with RVMI or whatever.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>yep, we also have the PnP=5 debacle to deal with. </p><p>i think both require a HIV file edit, a subroutine that does not currently exist in BASE.</p><p>I REALLY need to find some sit down time and do these items.</p><p>Related but off topic...<br />Today &quot;Sammie&quot; the family dog of 14 years passed away in her sleep in my office at our feet ten minutes before we were to leave for her last visit to the vet. her health detiriorated rapidly over the last two months since the development of a tumor on the outside of her lower jaw.&nbsp; Tori my 20 YO daughter is 1000 miles away working for Walt Disney and could not be here to see her off.
