you have the cart before the horse.

the ini file entries are carried out based on whether or not the driver is installed, not the other way around. the ini file entries are read and executed by the DriverPacks Finisher as the last stage of the driverpacks install.

IE an Nvidia driver must be installed before the INI entry to call the installer for the Nvidia control panel is run by the DriverPacks Finisher.

So to disable a driver either delete its directory or rename its INF file to another extension (like .BAC)

Hope that helps.

PS finally got the email !

Jeff

Oh i am sorry to be so vague. I added the misc driver pack which had the finger print driver and software. I added it to the build under third party.

I seen in the ini where it installs the reader software and i have made it equal to zero which i hope helps fix my issue. I will update thread if it does.

i sent another email did you all receive ? Also just came with new problem once i put some other driver pack on latitude d630. As it reboots and has issue with finger reader. I think this is the issue as it installs and then installs finger print reader suite. Then it loads into windows but as soon as I reboot. I get this error

the logon user interface dll vrlogon.dll failed to load

contact system admin and replace dll or restore dll

my only option is to restart and i am unable to pull log files from pc.
