Hi - my name is Ian Alexander, I'm the CEO of RepairTech, Inc. I was looking at our Google Analytics and found this forum post and thought I'd drop in to say hi and answer your question regarding our EULA.

A privacy policy seems to have been overlooked, nor is any data-collection mentioned in the End User License Agreement. In addition, it is unclear precisely what information is collected.

We wrote a Privacy Policy shortly after you made that post actually. It's pretty simple. We don't share your information with anyone, period. In reality, the data we collect is only used to fix bugs and improve our products.

I am not trying to slag this new product(s) nor the people that created them. I would to congratulate the authors for giving this idea a go, though. I am especially intrigued by the claim of temperature monitoring. IMHO, this is missing from both MEMTEST projects. Including such monitoring may have made their project much more difficult to manage, if not impossible to escape Beta.
