This is a program by Halfdone Development. The executable remains unchanged from the author's original 'Beta'. I have updated the device lists from Ray Hinchliffe's SIV program. All rights remain theirs, respectively.

Bear in mind that the first small table of information concerning chipset will be inaccurate for newer hardware.
(The chpsdevs.txt hasn't been updated by bootzilla since 2009-11-27)
Also, the Product Key identification doesn't work properly for NT6.x

Pastebin support works. All patebin posts are deleted after 2 months, BTW.

Long on hardware names (including ghost drivers, non-PnP) & short on HWID's.
It can handily compliment the HWID's tool....

I always liked this program, i just wished that the HID & USB detection would work properly.
I figured it out & decided to share.

I took the liberty of updating the devicelists from:
http://bootzilla.org/5x/utils/chpsdevs.txt 2009-11-27
http://os2site.com/sw/hardware/diags/ &
http://mirror.szepe.net/siv/usbdevs.txt (from Ray Hinchliffe's SIV - System Information Viewer)

The last file must be modified to "fix" the HID & USB detection. First add a comment character at the beginning of the file. ";" Next copy the file & remove all but one commented line at the beginning. Use Notepad++ or similar & lower-case all lines. Paste that into the original file at the end of file. zip all files into "DeviceLists.zip". Done.

Works with all versions of windows AFIK. edit: Win7-max

Note: Since the 'updated' chpsdev.txt file is from 2009-11-27, newer chipsets will not detect properly.
Also, Windows Key detection is wonky in NT6.
