Also the .CAT file needs to be kept for WHQL reasons, but us usually not listed under the above section.</p></blockquote></div><p>I thought so, too, but when I create a printer &quot;pack&quot; for my HP LaserHet 1000 and included only those deemed relevant files it gave me an error asking for one of the EXEs during installation so I had to manually point it to my SMB directory where I luckily still had the4 extracted files.</p><p>So I would be careful about that statement.<br />Maybe I did make a mistake but I actually did look into the INF to find out the dependancys and IIRC there was no EXE listed...</p><p>You can, however, drop a lot of other files, in my case and included PDF manual etc.</p><br /><p>EDIT: Forgot to mention:<br />HP does have a sort of AiO driver pack on their site already.<br />Unfortunately, it includes only PS5 printers (LaserJet), but not my model <img src="http://forum.driverpacks.net/img/smilies/sad.png" width="15" height="15" alt="sad" /></p><p>Can&#039;t seem to find the link ATM though...</p>]]></content>

Total size is already 587 Mb uncompressed, and 72 Mb 7-zipped.<br />I&#039;ve also started collecting Epson drivers (language dependant), and HP ones (150 Mb uncompressed).<br />Adding more drivers will result with a DP Printer over 700 Mb uncompressed, and 100 Mb 7-zipped.</p><p>Question : how to split it ? (even if Bâshrat the Sneaky prefers AIO DP <img src="http://forum.driverpacks.net/img/smilies/wink.png" width="15" height="15" alt="wink" /> )<br />- by band (bing ones first) ? Canon / HP / Epson / Others<br />- by type ? Bubblejet / Laserjet / others ?<br />- modify inf files to remove all other languages than english (losing WHQL ?) in order to reduce size ?</p>]]></content>
