Hi all

Been getting the following BSOD when installing XP with the MassStorage DP slipstreamed. Has been like this ever since i started using the DriverPacks so an older version wont help me here - unfortunately lol

The BSOD is:

A problem has been detected and windows has been shutdown to prevent damage to your computer.

...follow these steps:

[snip but refers to hard drive based solutions like use chkdisk /F etc etc]

STOP: 0x0000007B (0xF7A37528, 0xC0000034, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)

Now, heres the fun part...

The actual HDDs are SATA ones and the chipset is a ATI one I believe [not sure exactly what so I've included a hwids.txt at the end of the post - its got a ATI express 200 chip on it [but thats probably the gfx lol] but oddly, you can install XP without using any SCSI / SATA drivers i.e. seems to treat it like a normal IDE / ATA HDD.

I did try to use AutoImage without the Integrate MassStorage Text Mode Drivers checkbox checked, but I don't know at the moment whether that feature works yet as it seemed to intergrate them during the process of Bâshrat the Sneaky.

And if I leave out the MassStorage DP all together, it works fine [well, did previously].

Anyone got any ideas?

Link to the Product on HP's site:
http://search.hp.com/gwukeng/query.html … t&sh=1

hwids.txt wrote:

===========
PCI devices
===========

PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_4370&SUBSYS_3009103C&REV_01\3&61AAA01&0&A5 : Realtek AC97 Audio
PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_4371&SUBSYS_00000000&REV_00\3&61AAA01&0&A4 : PCI standard PCI-to-PCI bridge
PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_4372&SUBSYS_3009103C&REV_10\3&61AAA01&0&A0 : ATI SMBus
PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_4373&SUBSYS_3009103C&REV_00\3&61AAA01&0&9A : Standard Enhanced PCI to USB Host Controller
PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_4374&SUBSYS_3009103C&REV_00\3&61AAA01&0&98 : Standard OpenHCD USB Host Controller
PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_4375&SUBSYS_3009103C&REV_00\3&61AAA01&0&99 : Standard OpenHCD USB Host Controller
PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_4376&SUBSYS_3009103C&REV_00\3&61AAA01&0&A1 : ATI IDE Controller
PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_4377&SUBSYS_00000000&REV_00\3&61AAA01&0&A3 : PCI standard ISA bridge
PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_4379&SUBSYS_3009103C&REV_00\3&61AAA01&0&90 : Standard Dual Channel PCI IDE Controller
PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_5854&SUBSYS_3008103C&REV_00\4&1C9EB71F&0&2908: ATI RADEON XPRESS 200 Series Secondary
PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_5950&SUBSYS_00000000&REV_01\3&61AAA01&0&00 : PCI standard host CPU bridge
PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_5954&SUBSYS_3009103C&REV_00\4&1C9EB71F&0&2808: ATI RADEON XPRESS 200 Series
PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_5A37&SUBSYS_00000000&REV_00\3&61AAA01&0&28 : PCI standard PCI-to-PCI bridge
PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_5A3F&SUBSYS_00000000&REV_00\3&61AAA01&0&08 : PCI standard PCI-to-PCI bridge
PCI\VEN_1022&DEV_1100&SUBSYS_00000000&REV_00\3&61AAA01&0&C0 : PCI standard host CPU bridge
PCI\VEN_1022&DEV_1101&SUBSYS_00000000&REV_00\3&61AAA01&0&C1 : PCI standard host CPU bridge
PCI\VEN_1022&DEV_1102&SUBSYS_00000000&REV_00\3&61AAA01&0&C2 : PCI standard host CPU bridge
PCI\VEN_1022&DEV_1103&SUBSYS_00000000&REV_00\3&61AAA01&0&C3 : PCI standard host CPU bridge
PCI\VEN_14E4&DEV_1677&SUBSYS_3009103C&REV_20\4&19F7B2C2&0&0028: Broadcom NetXtreme Gigabit Ethernet
19 matching device(s) found.

===========
USB devices
===========

USB\ROOT_HUB\4&3D79AF7&0                                    : USB Root Hub
USB\ROOT_HUB\4&B3BEB7&0                                     : USB Root Hub
USB\ROOT_HUB20\4&34E69809&0                                 : USB Root Hub
3 matching device(s) found.

Cheers
Nath.
