1) is already answred by Helmi

2) that depends: as long as YOU don't delete the files necessary for the Finisher, NOR the DriverPacks directory, then you can execute it at whatever time/order you prefer.

Well, doesn't Finisher imply it sort of does a last polish kind of job that obviously has to be done last, aka near the finish?

Why would you want to launch it any earlier?

I guess your question is merely academic, but I'm wondering where you'd see a possible advantage in doing it different than it's handled now.

Hi,

It's a long time i want asking the following question... just for my knowledge.

1) Why are you launching the finisher file DPsFnshr.exe as nearly the last command in both meehods?

REG ADD HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnceEx\937 /V 1 /D

2) Is there any incidence if it launched elsewhere than the last command?
