Well, first you said it's IDE, then changed your story to SATA wink

Because you have your motherboard BIOS set for the SATA ports to emulate IDE (Legacy IDE, Native IDE, etc.) your HWID reports "CC_0101" which is IDE mode.  If you change your BIOS for the SATA ports to AHCI (recommended) or RAID then your HWID will change to "CC_0104" (AHCI) or "CC_0106" (RAID).
Can you repost your HWIDs  after you change the BIOS settings?

Can you test this release candidate of dpms and report back please?

The Jmicron IDE driver in dpms that matches your IDE controller hasn't changed since 2006.  It must be something that you did different.
