When I have XP Loaded, most computers I work on have a problem with the audio. I this case, the audio crackles lots. This only happens with the Realtek AC,97 codec driver. However, when I use the driver from the original vendor, everything is fine. It never had happened like this before. And at times a Soundmax or Sigmatel can get confused with the Realtek AC,97 driver. Other than that, all the other drivers I load from the burnt disc work splendidly for XP.
