Correct, they are placeholders. If you have a newer version, just replace the older file with the newer one in each folder respectively.
In future versions, I plan on placing dummy DP_Example_wnt*.7z files in each folder to save space.

Greetings,

A file like DP_Chipset_wntX-xXX_XXXXX.7z exists in /NT6/x64, /NT6/x86, and /NT5/x86. I have a newer version of this -- do I just delete the one that is in the archive? Back of my mind is telling me that the only reason these files are there are to serve as example placeholders for what you're supposed to put in there. Please confirm, thanks! Thanks very much!

Greetings,

How do I use the DriverPacks BASE to do a "Stand Alone Drivers" slipstream? These are very useful as I only have to run the batch file, so I can go from one machine to another and install DriverPacks just like that. Thanks!

EDIT: Here are my settings (start with defaults)

Settings -> Location -> Stand Alone Drivers
Settings -> DriverPacks -> Select all
Settings -> DriverPacks method -> method 2
