There is a new driver available for ITE CIR devices v5.1.0000.7 here: ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp53001-53500/sp53008.exe

It supports more hardware than the one included in DP_Chipset v11.04.
It is intended for Win7, however; you might find that works for XP.

Any testers to confirm?
