Graphics processing is about to be included in the 'CPU', now known as an APU. nV is having trouble with some of the latest cards & performance issues at higher resolutions. I have no word on whether that issue has been resolved or not. I'm not a nV-hater, dammit, i wish they'd start giving AMD a real run for their money. A lack of competition helps no one (well, intel rules the roost in proliferation terms). coke, pepsi, dodge, ford, potato, what's the difference, spud?

It's only an 'incredible' value if it will still work in 3 years, I'd want a 5-year warranty minimum. It sucks bullocks that North America doesn't force manufacturers to stand behind their products like in the EU (as i'm told).

I found another bug in Graphics pack v1011
apparently the integrated ATI driver has a problem with Radeon HD 3850.
the blue screen error says that "ati2dvag" stucks in an infinite loop.
I searched a little about it and found out that it might need an update, so i downloaded the new version of ATI driver for 3xxx series from the official site. but unfortunately the new driver had the same bug too.
then i reverted to my old driver from 2009 and everything was back to normal.
could you check it out in the new build of Graphic packs ?

Thanks, I'll look into it. I haven't had that error in the latest test build (uses Catalyst 11.01) so maybe the new version fixed it on it's own.
I prefer using the /qb switch because it gives a progress bar during installation. /qn gives no feedback at all (silent).

there was the following command in "DriverPack_Graphics_A_wnt5_x86-32.ini" , "DriverPack_Graphics_C_wnt5_x86-32.ini" :
"%DPSROOT%\D\G\A1\AVIVO\setup.exe /S /v/qb"
which caused this error about not being able to register a dll related to ATI graphic cards. I didn't save the screenshot of the error but after I changed the command line switch to "/S /v/qn" it resolved the error. I know this switch won't fix the problem but I thought you might wanna look into it.

I almost forgot to say that I'm using version wnt5_x86-32_1011
