I haven't tried this rc1 on an install disk (I just realized it was available today).
I can say that br0 does work on my laptop, when installed manually.
I can also say that the official website release still does not (I made a new cd just a couple of weeks ago).

I also see a lack of Broadcom 802.11n WLAN driver support in newest pack. Sept 2010 pack works OK.

Will forward HWIDs ASAP, but wanted to register my discovery with you.

FYI, I'm backrevving a pair of HP G72-B60US laptops with HM55 chipsets and Core i3 CPUs.

All other drivers are working except WLAN in latest pack.

Details to follow. I know the drill.

Fair enough. I've always said that newer does not equal better.
Please post your HWID list when you get a chance so I can get to work updating (or downgrading?) the pack.
Maybe I can fix it so we have both.

September 2010 Wlan worked just fine. The new drivers are borked (at least for this chip).
