I install windows from BartPE all the time... it works fine.

Start with a clean source.
Never add drivers with nLite.
always add DriverPacks as the last step in your process.

DriverPacks works fine with all MS supported languages.

If you follow the tutorial it WILL work...
If after you start with a clean source and then you are still having trouble please include your entire DPs_BASE.log...

maybe i should download the source iso file for en-us instead of zh-cn?

after integrating,I cann't find vmscsi.sys in \i386\folder.
during the installation,I copyed vmscsi.sy_(cannot find vmscsi.sys) in \$OEM$\$1\D\M\VM to \i386\ manually and press "continue".
It reported "viaide.sys cann't be found" again.so i gave up.

it "deleted old DriverPacks" maybe because that I tried for several times
I tried mode1 ,mode2 and changed software path because some programme don't support path contains chinese charactor.

You didn't "select" any DriverPacks to integrate. Running DriverPacks BASE with no DriverPacks selected will remove all traces of them and restore the original files.

So after you integrate dpms with textmode enabled then VMSCSI.sys does not exist in your source\i386\ folder?

i used nlite and the driver packs downloaded herer finally , it goes well.

I tried to analysis this problem.here is part of txtsetup.sif in xp installation files

[SourceDisksNames.x86]
1 = %cdname%,%cdtagfilei%,,\i386
[SourceDisksFiles]
VMSCSI.sys=1,,,,,,4_,4,1,,,1,4

It sems that the file vmscsi.sys shoud be in \i386 folder,but it actually could be found only in \$OEM$\$1\D\M\VM.consequently.I got an error.

I didn't build iso file.after uncompressed the orginal iso file and slipstreaming,I copyed the folder into harddisk of another computer and run setup.exe(or winnt32.exe) in windows PE enviroment to install windows xp. There is DPs_BASE.ini and DPs_BASE.log following.It seems that i can"t upload files

i used latest DPs_BASE_1006 and DP_MassStorage_wnt5_x86-32_1006 with windows-xp-sp3(zh-hans_windows_xp_professional_with_service_pack_3_x86_cd_vl_x14-74070.iso downloaded from microsoft.com), there is no other drivers except massstorage drivers .after slipstream,i tried to install it in windows pe environment.but error accured"cannot copy file vmscsi.sys".it seems that all the new added drivers file cannot be copyed.can someone help me?
