Here's my log-file (see below)
As you can see the machine hang up at 20:30. I resetted it on 20:50 after screensaver and no more action.
After reboot machine seems to be ok, all drivers working, also ATI CC.

Seems the problems is already solved in http://forum.driverpacks.net/viewtopic.php?id=463,
just want to point out, that there are possibly more people having problems with ATI cards

Long story short, the problem appears to be with some stray quotation marks in the DPsFnshr.ini file.  After I modified this file on the test system I was using, the problem went away.

anyways, back on topic, I had another system do this today. It was an ATI video on a Dell system. It sat at the Finisher window not responding for ~10min. after it finally booted, I noticed that the finisher exicutable file was still on the C: drive and was not deleted. Unfortunatly, I didn't get enough time to gather the report file before the system got picked up...

Four of my five machines happen to be ATi powered!

Just this one texting PC runs on nVidia (guess why wink nah, actually, it's because that was the only spare card I had).

Hopefully I will soon be able to install on one of my ATi machines to test this myself...
