CAVEAT: I have NOT used his Win7 advice, 'cuz I don't use that OS. But his XP and Server 2003 stuff is SPOT ON and solid.

Hello all

I remember that I had noting running in Task Scheduler in XP but in Windows 7 there seems to be a whole bunch of stuff that is there by default.

Seems like a lot of it is not needed but I wouldn't really be the best to determine so can anyone point me to a tutorial or page that discusses this?
