in  jan 2008 all of my sata drives would have a tranfer rate of 50 + MB per / sec in win xpl

in  jan 2008 all of my sata drives would have a tranfer rate of 25 + MB per / sec in win 2k3 sp2 .


Last dec 2009 I added a 500 gb seagate ST3500630AS H D to the onboard sata conecctor and now server 2k3 sp2  sees it as 4500 KBPS I am un certain as to the cause but I am starting here as the drivers look different from one os to another
