- Don't forget to MENTION the relevant DriverPack (or DriverPacks BASE) and its VERSION in the TITLE.
5. Don't forget to COPY/PASTE these files INSIDE CODE TAGS.
ALWAYS include in your post
- DPs_BASE.ini (from the same directory as DPs_BASE.exe)
- DPs_BASE.log (from the same directory as DPs_BASE.exe)
* For Base versions 8.9x or higher only the DPs_BASE.log is needed.
** For Base versions 9.x or newer the Log files are archived in the \LogFiles\ folder of BASE.
This way you can find a Log for any previous slipstream or run of the program.
(In case you accidentally overwrote the current log in the BASE folder)
IF RELEVANT, include in your post
- %SystemRoot%\DPsFnshr.log
- HWID's (Hardware Identification numbers) are almost always helpful.

I don't think you did any of that.
We can't help you without the above info.
SP3 includes the HDaudio fix (kb888111). Without that, no HDaudio!

Hey guys.

I've recently reinstalled XP on my old PC and I don't have the old CDs, so I had to search for drivers online.
And I can't get the sound working.
My motherboard: Asus P4S-x
I've tried installing the Realtek audio drivers and also the SoundMax ones, but no luck. I also get the "portcls.sys" crash, which I've read about on the forums and installed a fix, but still no sound.

Any idea on what I should do?
