Or that I&#039;m screwed trying to use driverpacks to build it? lol</p><p>The reason I used the quote tag was to highlight the difference between my laptop&#039;s hwid string and proximous&#039;. Guess I could have just not included the full output. But anyway, does that help explain anything to anyone? I actually have multiple laptops with this same problem, all d620&#039;s, so I know this one isn&#039;t special.</p><p>Anyway, I can just give up one these it&#039;s not too big of a deal for me. The d620&#039;s are getting closer to out of warranty by the day, but I figured I&#039;d give it a shot here on the forums.</p><p>Thanks again</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Yeah the Dell drivers do work, I haven&#039;t tried drivers from Nvidia on this model (at least I don&#039;t recall, I get to deal with so much variety) but I usually don&#039;t have problems using ATI/Nvidia drivers versus the Dell provided ones. I know packing lots of drivers together is tricky business, and using non reference chipsets and calling them something they aren&#039;t doesn&#039;t make life easier for driver support.</p><p>I&#039;ll check tomorrow at work what the hwid&#039;s are on this laptop, thanks for your reply so far.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>This issue with the quadro card in Dell systems may be because Dell isn&#039;t using reference quadro cards so the reference drivers are failing.&nbsp; Dell is notorious for including proprietary hardware in their systems.<br />You&#039;re not the only one reporting problems with Dell D6*0 systems using Quadro hardware.<br />Do the standard Dell drivers work?<br />What are your HWIDs?</p>]]></content>

I&#039;m trying to do my own fix based on the old thread. Will post results as soon as I get a good build / yet another bsod.</p><p>Advice, help is appreciated... thanks.</p><p>[edit] Wanted to mention that I include all of the standard driverpacks in my slipstream, so I haven&#039;t tried singling them out. I made some assumptions after finding the old thread. Based on what I&#039;ve seen in the latest NV4_GO.INF, I suspect I may be right that the issue has resurfaced.</p>]]></content>
