This should be fixed in DriverPack Chipset & dpms 1009 which I'm finalizing now.
We are still waiting for supporting information from the original poster.

Hi guys! Two months ago I've bought a laptop - toshiba satellite a300d-205. But it was designed for win vista (or win 7) only so of course I cant find some drivers for win XP. I have found drivers for audio, display and webcam, but I really couldn't find an AHCI driver!! Now the SATA-mode in my BIOS is switched to "compatibility" but I want to switch on AHCI mode! The official toshiba web site doesn't contain the driver because (as I think) win vista (or 7) provides it already and it is not necessary. I know that this type of drivers should be added during a windows installation using "F6", or attached to a windows CD. It's not a problem, I will make my own install-CD but I don't have the driver! So help me to find (or make) it please!!

The motherboard type: Toshiba Satellite Portable PC
The chipset name: AMD 780g
The host bridge: RS780
The south bridge: SP5100 (SB700)
