It is last and latest official Intel Chipset Drivers.Most Intel drivers will not install on a OEM system as Intel leaves any updates up to the computer manufacture.The Intel 82865G graphics controller,combined with the Intel Extreme Graphics Driver allows the output of high quality 2D or 3D video and graphics to the display.

I just took a look myself and the version contained in 9.06 (and the latest RC) is the same that's listed on intel's download site (version 14.17).
IIRC, we replaced the drivers with a unified driver set which had dropped the 865g, so we just added it back.
Intel still says it's current though!

Sorry version 9.06 in the I6 folder has drivers dated 9/20/2005 as well as version 8.12.1

Version 8.10 has a newer version of the driver that's dated 8/15/2006.

Which DriverPack Graphics B version are you referring to? My release candidate file has 7 Intel folders all for specific chipsets.
What you're seeing is probably a folder reorganization.

Current version of the graphics B driverpack has an older version of the Intel 82865G driver dated back to 2005 where the previous version of Graphics B has a newer version that is dated 2006 and is the same currently as what is available on the Dell website. Was there a reason to go back to an older version? I looked at the at the change log and didn't see anything mentioned.
