Hi Rusty,

Welcome to the forums squire!

Your problem is fairly strightforward so I'll do my best to help point you in the right direction.

The tutorial for creating your own driverpacks is very easy to follow and so as a newbie you should hopefully get through it OK. You can find it here:
http://forum.driverpacks.net/viewtopic.php?id=5

Once you've used this tutorial to create your driverpack then simply download and install the Driverpacks BASE application from here:
http://driverpacks.net/applications/latest

Now, browse to where you've installed the BASE application and stick your newly-created pack in the '3rd Party Driverpacks' folder.

All that's left is to run the DPs_BASE.exe program and then point it to where your XP install files are located and it'll do all the hard work of slipstreaming in your drivers.

Good luck!

Mulgie

Hi,

I'm hoping to find some help in finding or putting together a driver pack for the NVIDIA GeForce 8300 SATA/RAID controller on the ASUS M4N78 PRO M/B I've just purchased. I'm looking to install Windows XP Pro from USB which isn't so difficult but it seems integrating the drivers into WinXP CD is a bit harder. I don't have a floppy disk drive as these are redundant therfore the option to press F6 and install thrid party dirvers is one...

I've seen a couple of posts on how to do this but they are a wee bit confusing and in my opinion are a bit over complicated and I have no idea how to put this together as this is a first and would really prefer not to spend hours researching this for a one off. So any help is appreciated.

Thanks to any and all help provided.
