extract the pack remove the folder
open the packs ini file remove the section
repack with 7zip

I'm having the same problem: BSOD on iastor55.sy_ also using UBCD4Win, with MassStorage 9.01, built from WinXP Retail slipstreamed with SP2. My system is different, so I'm wondering if the solution should be the same for me.

If so, could you explain what you mean by "removing the L1 folder along with the L1 section of the INI file."

You may for purpose of creating a BartPE plugin just comment the lines...

with a normal DriverPacks BASE slipstream to a Win NT5 source if you do not remove the folder there might still be a conflict created...

Whoa! Hey partner, that was the ticket! So tell me, what's the deal with that? Does this mean there is a driver conflict with the Intel Embedded Server RAID Technology driver MegaINTL? I have an Intel server board that I believe uses that driver. I should check and see.

Anyhow, what can be done to correct that and also leave the MegaINTL driver in the driver pack? Is this possible?

One last thing, when editing the 7z driver packs, is it necessary to edit both the inf file and the referenced folder? Or can I just comment(semi-colon) out the reference in the inf file?

I've been fighting with this for well over 5 days now. You guys solved it. Thank you folks. I really appreciate your help.

Ok, I downloaded your mass storage pack v909r6, slipstreamed them into my ubcd4win builder, and built a new iso.

Still gives BSoD at the exact same spot, this time referencing iastor.sy_

Hello all.

I've got a BSoD problem when booting a pebuilder or ubcd4win(WIN XP SP3 Source) recovery disk using mass storage pack 901 on an ASUS P4C800-E Deluxe using the ICH5R RAID controller. The BSoD references iastor55.sy_. If there is any further information needed, please let me know.
