Did you perhaps slipstream the iastor.sys driver using nLite?

yes there are. i found iastor.sys many times.

Please do this:

1. Navigate to the I386 directory of your Windows XP installation files. Now find 'txtsetup.org' and open it using Notepad (or any text editor).
2. Search for the string 'iastor' (use CTRL+F). Are ANY matches found?

this is the error i get when i try and install winxp. the only driver pack i've used is the NIC one. i then tried including the mass storage one but i still receive the error. i know for a fact that driverpack is deleting the file.

any ideas?
