Just run the dp_inst_tool.cmd right off the Disc. that should take care of it.

you can use the full set of drivers or just the LAN pack, Up to you.

My brother reloaded Windows XP on his computer to deal with a Trojan horse virus that had crippled his computer.
NOW he needs the drivers to run his Ethernet controller which is identified in the
CONTROL PANEL\SYSTEM PROPERTIES\HARDWARE\ETHERNET CONTROLLER\DETAILS\
HARDWARE ID'S as:

He no longer has any software except the Windows XP disks and has asked me to see if I can "find" the drivers for him.
I haven't opened up the PC (it is a desktop pc I'm working on) so I don't know what brand of Ethernet card is installed -
I would rather not make things worse by messing up any of the hardware (I'm not interested in buying him a new
computer ;-P) - so I'm not sure what manufacture to goto for the drivers. ALSO, I am running Windows Vista and don't
have any of my old PC software and drivers due to a house fire,  SO.....Can anyone help? Thanks - Doug
