Since you seem confident about the tool's function (and that nothing special have been tweaked after the slipstream), I will then go for that normal slipstream, where most recent driverpacks (such as graphics A and B) are automatically updated over obsolete ones.

It is also good to know that selecting no packs has for effect of uninstalling driverpacks.

farewell,
twipley

Hello back, everybody.

From reading http://forum.driverpacks.net/viewtopic.php?id=1503, and seeing the old date, I wanted to ensure that the recorded information still applies to current driverpacks and base tool. So for example, if I update driverpacks GB from 8.12 to 9.06 by slipstreaming again over i386 (http://driverpacks.net/driverpacks/wind … ics-b/9.06), the obsolete folders are supposed to be deleted and the inf files to be migrated automatically?

Is that procedure recommended, or would it be safer to begin again with a "virgin" i386 folder instead of just slipstreaming newest GA & GB versions, so that those two get updated while all the other already slipstreamed driverpacks remain intact?

Sorry for all the doubts, but I just wanted to get extra confirmation for stressed people like myself, if possible. :shy:
