Here is the rumored pricing for Windows 7 editions (not the upgrade versions):
· Windows 7 Starter: $199
· Windows 7 Home Premium: $259
· Windows 7 Professional: $299
· Windows 7 Ultimate: $319

I just (yesterday) ordered Windows 7 Professional E from Amanzon.co.uk for less then £100 ... I couldn't resist .
Seems the action is already over. Back to +£100,00 for pre-orders ... Home Premium can still be gotten for the special price (£74.97).

Take not that those E versions are full retail and contain both 32 & 64 bit.

According to M$, the only things the Ultimate version adds to the Pro version is BitLocker (which I have, but have never used) and multiple language support.
Pro for my tower! Maybe Home Premium for my notebooks
