Hi Community,

I'm looking for a driver for my Notebook (HP DV7 1045EG).
I want to configure a Raid-0.

My Notebook works with the Cantigo PM ICH9 (945PM-E Chipset).
Everywhere I search, I can't find a inf-file for this Chipset to install a Raid 0 during the Installation of Vista 32.

Normaly you can install the INF-Files over the USB-Stick when you install your HDDs. After the load of the right INF, Vista shows only one HDD and you can continue to install the OS in Raid 0 Mode.

Is there anyone who knows if my Chipset is able to run in Raid 0 mode?

I've tried the following Points:

- Extracting the newest "Intel Matrix Storage Manager"
- Extracting the newest Intel INF-Update tool
- Extracting the newest Intel RAID/AHCI-tool

I've tried some tools like:

- iata70_cd
- iata82_cd
- IATA88CD

from the intel Homepage - no chance...

Now I found you and driverpacks.net... but this tool ("Chipset_x86_812") doesn't have my Raid-INF inside, too...

Can someone help me?

The Hewlett-Packard-Support wrote me, that a Raid 0 configuration is possible withe the Intel Matrix Storage Manager...

I have no more ideas...

Greets in advance

Vince
