DP_BASE 8.12.4
DP_WLAN_wnt5_x86-32_806
Used Windows XP Home SP3 retail to build a UBCD4WIN Ver. 3.2.2 CD

1. I downloaded DP_BASE and the DriverPacks from DriverPacks.net, and saved them to a folder I created C:\driverpacks.

2. I ran DPs_BASE_8124 from the C:\driverpacks and extracted to the same folder.

3. I ran DP_BASE from the C:\driverpacks folder.

4. I chose Barts PE as my platform, and browsed to C:\UBCD4WIN\plugin to slipstream to.

5. I ran the updater page, then the select DriverPacks page, and hit slipstream.

Everything seemed to run perfectly. DP_BASE zipped right through the slipstream process. When I ran the UBCD4WIN build, I checked the plugins, and they were all there and all enabled. Well DP_BASE wasn't enabled, but it's not supposed to be. The build went great, No Errors No Warnings.

I booted up the CD, and started Wireless Services with no problem. I started the configurator, and put my profile in place of the one that was there, and opened the main configurator page. And then it just went south. The default ethernet card was a conceptronics. Much to my surprise, it let me hard wire to the internet. In the drop down menu, however, there is no other card listed.

My WLAN card is a Broadcom 802.11, and uses BCMWL5.SYS, and bcmwl5.inf. These are in the WLAN DriverPack. I can't figure out how to get them to work though. I would have thought they would be in the ethernet dropdown, but they aren't. I don't have my WPA enabled, so that is not the issue. Someone at UBCD4WIN Forums suggested I put my driver files in BartsPE\SYSTEM AND \SYSTEM32 respectively, and re-build. That didn't work either.

So, I am at a loss to explain it. Any comments or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
