correct me if i'm wrong,

using method 1 it would be possible deleting the drivers from the source as this method works from wininf.sif at T-39 stage, and as here (http://unattended.msfn.org/unattended.xp/view/web/13/) explained these is previos the device installation timeline. the problem of this method is the 4096 limit caracter in OemPnPDriversPath entry (http://unattended.msfn.org/unattended.xp/view/web/34/) and the DP's structure.

the problem doesn't exist if all needed drivers are repacked in a 3rd driver pack and listed in OemPnPDriversPath entry. so, the question is, which are the indispensable, and common for all machines, drivers in order to mantain them in driver.cab?

another question, the text mode used for massstorage is the one listed in the msfn guide as this?
» Text-mode Setup
 1. Loads Drivers

thanks.
