Yes, that tutorial is not up to date with the latest DriverPacks BASE. I'm really falling behind, in many things.

Thing is, if every of the 100,000s of DP users would ask beforehand, we would be totally swarmed with requests...

Most users of the DriverPacks usually have one working machine and one to set up, so they can easily try on that one, then rebuild if it didn't work on the working machine - hence, there's no reason not to test (unless you are really short on time).

Of course, if you are going to reinstall on your one and only PC, then that's a bit difficult...

No, i didn't try. I'd like to be sure if possible, before starting an install process and get an error message and a not-working machine. That's why i asked

Did you try DriverPack Chipset in an integration yet? Did you verify it didn't work? I'm fairly certain it's already in there, even if it isn't listed.

southbridge of my new toshiba satellite a300 laptop is the Intel 82801IM (ICH9-M) Revision 07 (name found via SIW, software info for windows). I tried to search it in the chipset drivers list, but I could't find it. Is that correct?

Is there a chance to see it inserted in future versions?
