Thanks, i didn't saw your links, i went to the tutorials at the main page but all it had was a german tutorial. Anyway, drivers slipstreamed and ready to go!

You can NOT add the DriverPacks mass storage drivers with nLite.

It is a bad idea to add ANY of the DriverPacks with nLite...
although a few of the drivers will work, quite a few will not...

If you could do this with nLite, then we would not be here

YES, DriverPacks BASE program slipstreams drivers to Windows XP SP3 text mode...
and for win2k and win2k3 as well...

I'm also trying to slipstream sATA drivers to Windows XP SP3 text mode setup with nLite, by extracting DP_MassStorage_wnt5_x86-32_901.7z to a folder and then adding it with nLite's option to insert "Multiple Driver folder", but all it inserts are PNP drivers. With DP_MassStorage_wnt5_x86-32_805.7z, it asks me if i want PNP or Textmode drivers but just for Smart Array Controllers (D\M\C1) and Intel Controllers (D\M\I3).

Does your DriverPacks BASE program slipstreams drivers to Windows XP SP3 text mode?

just to let yall know the basepack will not work on a hp pavillion dv9700t i havent even tried it on my dv7-1135nr yet

For what you wish to do...

You only are required to select mass storage text mode...
but in certain instances also selecting the DriverPack MassStorage pack for slipstreaming will provide better support for your hardware.

since mass storage is only a few meg I can't think of a good reason not to include it
