I am having a problem doing a XP Pro Enterprise x86 install with the driver packs. I know that the drivers packs on not needed for a virtual machine, but I am working on an image to deploy to several machines. here are some of the details. If you need any more info, please just let me know. I know that this something to do with the combination of Hyper-V and Drivers packs.

XP source is Original Microsoft SP3 disk.

I am using the latest DP - redownloaded this week. Method 2, keeping drivers.

Nlite used to create iso, but no other changes.

The install hangs just after going to GUI portion at "37 Minutes remaining" in install. The system just hangs. I left it for over a day.

The same ISO works in actual computers and in VMware Workstation free trial.

Creating an ISO from the raw XP source files works fine in Hyper-V.

I have restarted the entire process twice, but I get the exact same results each time.

Any help, even just shots in the dark to try would be appreciated.

Thank you,

Ryan
