I really liked the look and warm feel...
not over done or understated... better than i could have done

I however will second Mr_smartepants motion of getting a tasteful host... please
one of our mods may decide to delete your links since you were already asked nicely once...
(I tried to not bring it up but you made me do it!)

just a couple of things...

1 We support
a Win2k Sp4
b WinXP SP2 and SP3
c Win2K3 Server SP1, SP2

If the finisher came up and said XPsp3 and it wasn't.

We would definately get BUG reports on that

The curved text is extremely hard to read.

I found this at RyanVM.net the other day that someone had in there post for Bashrat Drivers Background Displayer
but I edit to look this way because they had it with 2 sides with a brown border & your progress bar in it & I resized
it down by half it's size it was.
I went back there & the person that had it in their post, the link isn't working now to see it, the post was like 3 yrs. ago also.
I will see if I can locate this person & see if I can change some stuff & have you use it in your app as a billboard if you wish.

Here is what i have come up with so far m8... it is a work in progress just something i put together in 10 mins or so...

i can write the code in a few seconds... NBD... but thanks for the offer!

I am just not much of an artist... i just need someone to make the cool graphic!

It also occurs to me that the DSPD need not be a seperate app...
it could, and probably should, be part of the finisher itself.
although i think it is probably only neccessary with the finisher if KTD is enabled... not totaly positive on that one...
and KTD is now obsolete with the addition of SAD and DP_Inst_Tool

@Overflow: I've actually made a first logon window for a friend of mine using AutoIt. It has a picture in the window along with information and the title bar says "Performing Installation and Configurations". Most likely you wouldn't want the title bar, which it could be removed. If you would like, I could send you my AutoIt script for this. The only downfall, if you want to consider it one, is that the picture that you put in the window has to be located either on a hard drive in a pre-defined location by you or on the source in a predefined location also pre-defined by you, so that when the Finisher runs it will be able to display the picture. If you would like me to send you my AutoIt script for this, just let me know and I'll send it to you.

Ok m8 will do for sure! Any idea on screen res? Im thinking 800x600 (i think is the norm) but may be wrong or shall i make as big as possible?

How about having a billboard type screen which shows that the driverpack finsher is running rather than the grey box? also how about removing the disabler box too, this would clean it up a bit and make it look much nicer?

The billboard could have the site url in one corner or something like that?
