I believe this is what is called the Intel Advanced Management Technology (AMT, for short) Inferface. Problem with this is that there are different revisions of the AMT and drivers for each revision. I had to do the same for the AMT on a Portege m750 and m700. They didn't use the same driver as they had different revs of the AMT. I think you should Google the actual ID and DEV number ("VEN_8086&DEV_2E24") to find similar drivers to the one you need. Don't worry if they are not from the same vendor (IBM, Acer, Dell or whatever) as they are just the same Intel drivers as far as I know. They just use the driver version they know that works even if Intel has posted a newer one. If you do try to download from Intel site (http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Product … p;lang=eng), try to limit your search to downloads related to chipsets that are similar to that of your computer.

OverFlow, I believe Chipset driverpack has one version of the AMT interface already, but just one version. May not cover lephute's computer.

Hope this helps.

um no technically it is a management interface, not a "device" that falls into a category covered by one of the basic DriverPacks, although this could be added to a 3rd party DriverPack quite easily

if it becomes popular we may add it VIA the finisher triggered by certain configurateions of hwids and files on the target machine

for now you can simply google INTEL(R) MANAGEMENT ENGINE INTERFACE and get a ton of hits for drivers to try.

If you were a team player you could report back here which one worked for you!

Someone may even create a 3rd party DriverPack (if you don't)
