Is this still a valid bug? This thread is pretty old.
This device should be supported in v11.08 DriverPack Sound B \D\S\I\STHDA.INF
The driver in that folder was released 11 months AFTER the last post in this thread.

Please confirm so we can close this thread or work towards a fix.

Thanks for the info.

But right now still having problem with our electricity as our Hydro Plant has been damage, I'm expecting a week of "brown-out". Feedbacks will be delayed.

You might try using HP, Gateway or Dell IDT HD Audio drivers. All 3 OEMs use it and there's a good chance they haven't customized the drivers.

Sorry for the delay been very busy last two weeks, I'll test it today although the drivers is IDT, I'll report back tomorrow since today is saturday and the Laptop is not on my hands now... Thanks.

The original CD lost... I'm trying to contact the ECS manufacture regarding where to download this specific model and also the Computer Store where it bought that maybe they still have a stock and just copy the CD. I'm also trying to download other ECS model drivers to try which one will work closest.

That's the problem I'm having, I can't find D25 model even on ECS websites seems this model is ECS chinese [can't read chinese]... But I'll look a working driver, report back soon as I'll find one. Thanks.

That's disappointing, but not unexpected.
If you can find a working driver from ECS (or anywhere else), post the link here and I'll fix it.

[NIGHTLY] DP_Sound_B_wnt5_x86-32_812n1, Still no good for ECS-D25, still no sound... Notice that there's an IDT folder in Program Files, tried to utilize it but no go...

Yeah... It's a Great question. One I am sure many people are asking themselfs.

I think once the new mass pack hits the streets then sound will be next...
