			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Hi mr_smartpants,</p><p>I updated the bios (used toshiba updter), I reinstalled the chipset driver (intelchipset_t910bxis, just to make sure),</p><p>I used the yamaha uninstaller, I removed all the yamaha entries from the registry with regseeker.</p><p>I tried to reinstall the sound driver... Noop. &quot;Driver wasn&#039;t not installed&quot;.</p><p>I got a call from Toshiba, they say that there doing their best with Yamaha to solve the problem, but in fact, that&#039;s Microsoft causing the problem via their service pack. Solution might come from Microsoft? I don&#039;t count on that...</p><p>From what I understand, there is an entry in the registry that block the installation of the driver. But I can&#039;t find it.</p>]]></content>

Extracted it. Found YMF753 driver, by guessing and checking, and tried to apply it. 			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Win XP SP3</p><p>DriverPacks sound driver doesn&#039;t work.</p><p>Toshiba SP1 and SP2 (no wonder) don&#039;t work too. v5105sndx</p><p>AWI3157_XP from Yamaha doesn&#039;t work.</p><p>And a bunch of others. Not working.</p><p>Tried uninstaller from Toshiba and Yamaha, then reinstalling: I get the message &quot;Driver was not installed&quot;.</p><p>Tried through the Device Manager: I don&#039;t even see the Yamaha AC-XG Audio Device.</p><p>Tried to erase some entries about Yahama Sound Card Driver through the Registry Editor: not working.</p><p>Tried through Add Hardware from the Control Panel: not working.</p><p>Any idea?
