Yeah, these are tough. The newest ones have a different folder/installer structure than the last ones (which was different from the ones in the 8.04 DP).
I swear those engineers are doing this just to piss us off!

we had a heck of a time with this one last time there were three different installers rolled into one driver.

and we needed testers with an audigy and X-Fi and a Live card to make sure finisher was installing correctly

we had like four people on it for a week... i Know you have an audigy we need a tester with an X-Fi and a Live now...

looks like Creative already made it silent, look at this file SBAX_PCDRV_LB_2_18_0001\Drivers\wdm\common\i386\AppSetup.exe which contains Creative Audio Console

You don't need to request this. We're already hard at work trying to incorporate it.
Problem is, Creative doesn't make it easy for us.
If you want to help contribute, see if you can figure out how to install the Audigy control panel silently. That's the bugger!
