Yeah, sort of.

You must, however, make sure that the printer(s) is/are connected during installation, when the drivers are being installed.
ONLY drivers for devices that are connected will get installed!

You cannot connect the device later for it will not have any drivers installed then.

ONLY solution to this is to ENABLE KTD!
That will Keep The Drivers (hence the name) and provide them for Windows when it finds new hardware!

thx again for your responded, i can understand about your explanation, is it mean even there is no printer at control panel but the drivers already installed? so i just need to plug the printer so it will find automatically?

Ok, first, check out the link in my sig about those HWIDs.
Be sure to have those printers connected to your system, then let it run, c&p results and post them here.

Also, what do you mean by you cannot find the driver?
Surely, you must have downloaded the ones appropriate for the models.
Exctract them either using 7Zip or maybe IZArc and manually install from there.

I'm thinking your problem may have to do with the fact that during installation, not all printers are connected to your system...
You mention eight different models, I find it a bit hard to believe they are all connected to the same system (or is it a server?).
Your error may lay there.

Thank you for responded.

I have 6 model of Samsung Laser Printer (ML-1210, ML-1430, ML-1610, ML-1710, ML-1740 and ML-2010) and 2 thermal printer (Printrex 820 DL and Printrex DL/G)
I will use all model of those printer, and I want all models show up at control panel.

After done with XP Setup, I tried manually to install the printer, i can't found the driver.
Need advice, thxs.

What printer is it, really?

Also, does manually installing the exact driver you put in your 3rd party DriverPack work?
That means, going the right-click INF route.

Some printers will need a USB interface driver to work properly.
I noticed this highly depends on the language of the file whether it works automatically or not...

I have succed made my first unattended xp dvd with nlite n dp
But i have one problem that i need your opinion about this.

My thirdparty driver is some printer drivers (5 models), multi ports driver. When XP Setup is finished only my multiport is installed but my printer is still empty.

Anybody can help me?
