DriverPack MassStorage has been updated since then.
and the johny that put the illegal XP on a torrent gets no help from me.

slipstream a legal copy.

the via update in DriverPack MassStorage 804 might fix this.. but I must tell you that we have had a few testpacks since. We have not released yet because their are some reports on the updates we have put in the 805 trial packs.
The vendors do not put truly unified drivers up, and tend to drop hardware support while using same filenames..

I will also note that SP3 includes a VIA hyperion of itself now, which is NOT in SP2..

I want to install Windows XP Ultimate by Johnny, April release,  it uses xp sp3 with the massStorage driver pack 8.02.1

when I try to start the installation it starts loading the necessary files as usual, then it takes about 2 to 3 minutos loading SATA and RAID drivers

then when finally that's done, the Setup is Starting windows message appears
and that's where I get the blue screen, with that message with codes, it starts with 0x0000007b and then a lot more.

Did a google search and read something about pressing f5 in the beginning, but that was of no help.
Tried the the cd on my brother's desktop and it works, it allows me to choose partition, but not on my box.

Its a seagate 160gb IDE,  2gb ram, amd 64 x2 dual 4400+.

I think this might be useful.
