infact no ide drives are connected, i have 6 sata nforce ports and 1 silicone, all my hard drives are on the nforces, and my optical drive is on the silicone(yes i have a sata burner drive)

i did a new build of my install disc with the old mass storage release and all is working fine.when i used the new pack 1st time and had errors i knew you guys had updates the silicone drivers, so i took an ide optical drive and did a test run to see if i could install without problems, but i still had problems.

1st of all hi and thx for driverpacks.net being in exsistance!

im prety sure the latest modification of the mass storage pack is causing trouble with sata hard drives/optical drives. i can boot my install disk fine but when the fake setup(method2) kicks in it complains that DSP.....exe(forgot the name) is missing.previous pack worked fine.ill continue to do more tests.the same disc i used on my sata drives system was used on an ide drive only system and all went ok,thus why i think the satadrivers included in the pack are the culprit and i think i narrowed it down to the new mods for the silicone drivers.n e ways thx for evryones hard work around here i realy appreciate it.
