BSOD with DP WLAN 8.03 on "Dell Inspiron XPS M1530 15"WXGA T7250(2.0GHz/800) 2Gb,250Gb,GF8600MGT,DVDRW,WL,BT,Cam,VHP"! Without DP - all good!

note to team
BR\bcmwl5.inf has a generic claiming this driver.
The specific is not in DriverPacks.

so, it looks like we have to add a driver.

Hi,

With WLAN Pack 8.03 gets "Dell Wireless 1505 Draft 802.11n WLAN Mini-Card" detected as "Broadcom 802.11n draft" and the device cannot be started (exclamation mark at the icon).

HWID: PCI\VEN_14E4&DEV_4328&SUBSYS_000A1028&REV_03\4&360A6DE&0&00E1

I forgot that it's most probably Broadcom 1505 WLAN Chip, probably needs only to update Broadcom Drivers ...

Driver Location (it's in a huge pack 89MB :-( ) http://ftp.us.dell.com/network/Dell_mul … 174291.exe

This card is used in DELL's Lattitude Dx30 line, in Lattitude XT it's too.

Can you add this into WLAN DriverPack?
