Hi,

I am trying to install Windows XP Pro (SP2) on a SATA harddisk that
is connected to a Promise SATA150 TX4 Controller. Until now without
much luck. With my first attempts I could boot from CD, load the drivers
from the floppy disk (F6), and copy the files to the harddisk. But after
the reboot Windows failes with a BSOD saying 0x0000007b...

With the DriverPack MassStorage it's a bit better. After Setup copied all
files from cd to the harddisk the computer reboots. Windows Setup ist
starting up and configuring everything. But on the next reboot there is
the 0x0000007b BSOD again...

I already tried loading the driver twice after booting from CD (F6),
some people on google groups said that this could help... well, it didn't.

Any idea, how to solve this issue? This is really annoying since this
computer needs to be setup ASAP and I don't get any further...

Thanks for reading

Bye
fraenki
