let me think aloud...

ms_1_tag="3wareDrv"
ms_1_sysFile="3wareDrv.sys"

filename is 3WAREDRV.sys (this was done a good while back, when I first saw problems with case sensitivity. )
In QSC txtmode folder you will then find 3WAREDRV.SY_ (upper case extention)
in QSC mass storage pack folder you find 3WAREDRV.sy_ (lower case extention)

I will run this again with the drivername changed, and then look at the QSC content for mass storage.

for now, I suggest you rename 3WAREDRV.sy_ to 3WAREDRV.SY_ in the QSC folder

you are correct only the folder you mentioned needs deleted

try two things please
turn off qsc and see if that cures it
see if you can find and zip or rar or whatever the file to verify it exists and is not corrupted.

Do you have plenty of free space on the drive/partition that base run from.

I deleted the folder wnt5_x86-32_m1_DP_MassStorage_8021 in the qsc directory. I think, thats enough. I don't know if I should erase all other folders too? But nothing happens. Same error again ...

the next thing i would try since you already downloaded the massstorage driverpack again is deleting the QSC folder and see if that fixes it.

Hello,

I use the Driverpacks for a long time and everything is fine. But now, I got a serious problem. Everytime I try to integrate the drivers, I get the following Error Message:

Failed to CAB compress \D\M\3\3wareDrv.sys to D:\TEMP\DP\QSC\wnt5_x86-32_uni_DP_MassStorage_8021_textmode\3WAREDRV.SY_.

I reloaded the MassStorage Driver Version 8.02.1 this day, but the error is still there.
