in as much as SP3 is being released so will the RC for base
that was its main function was to support xp sp3.

there is a lot more i have been working on in the code but little of it will be seen.
i fixed the proxy problem and streamlined the uninstall routines (prep stage).
and have further modularized routines. 

the finisher issue is related to the fact we have been rearanging all of the packs folder structures.
the finisher uses hard coded folders. that needs to be addressed still.

Probably a faux pas, but any idea when an RC3 will be coming out?  smile

(the logs did not make that obvious.. the INI would have told us).

Come to think of it, I used so many variations and because I had not used third party, this did not show a month ago.. I really feel like a moron.

Abdou, you helped us locating a bug..
(I was telling people to turn QSC ON for many months but I had no idea that third party was also triggering a critical error. Now we know it does.)
