I read the same post under driverpack sound but seems that our problem is not taken seriously by anybody here...unfortunately.

I have the same problem with a IBM thinkcentre i restarted the PC & it went through OK but no sound drivers.

looks like you need to add request on DriverPack Sound

I did not add the sound packs in my last windows p unattended installation and i managed to use Bâshrat the Sneaky like a charm!!

Please Mods here have a look on the sound packs there is something wrong

I'm getting into something,
i'm using latest RyanVM as well Bâshrat the Sneaky...
the error is something about "portcls.sys" and i discovered that both RyanVM and Bâshrat the Sneaky are slipstreaming the same hotfix, and here the clash may have come.

I have no idea if anyone else is having the problem that you're having. I have not seen any other reports of your exact problem.

There is only one mod (that I know of) here and that's Bashrat himself. Hopefully he's working on new release of BASE to help with some of these issues.

Latest Updates:
I did slipstream a version by exluding graphics packs A and B and the same problem occured.
conclusion:
after updating my driver packs base the MESS came and now since i lost the old driver pack base it's a pity that i cannot use it anymore!!!

since i'm the only person apparently having this dreadful bug i don't think that my issue will be sorted out soon, bad luck...

I'll wait to see if someone else have the same pb

It sounds as though there is a problem with the video adapter and the drivers properly installing during the PnP enumeration phase of setup. I have a somewhat similar problem with a Compaq nx9010 laptop that has an ATI adapter built-in. For the time being my solution for that particular machine is to leave out the ATI video drivers and install them manually post setup.

If you could post the hwids from that laptop it may help Bâshrat the Sneaky troubleshoot the problem.

Hi,
I'm using the latest Driverpack base 6.06.1 and latest drivers packsss i have a Sony Vaio PCG-GRT916V...
every time i slipstream the DP windows connot install on my system i'm getting a blue screen in the beginning of the installation process when windows shows 36min remaining!!! i'm a new poster but not a new unattended XP user...
the problem looks very weird for me... any help would be appreciated
