			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>I just lost a post with the solution in it.<br />when I look at the driver&#039;s HWID and search the first HWID I see we never had this<br />PCI\VEN_14E4&amp;DEV_4320&amp;SUBSYS_00E70E11</p><p>We have the generic PCI\VEN_14E4&amp;DEV_4320 in WBR1<br />We do not have &amp;SUBSYS_00E70E11 in before/after pruning.</p><p>Suggested solution.<br />add the driver<br />add the spotlighted driver output to the exell sheet (or both: before/after)<br />look for other dupes.<br />try find out wether generics will clash.<br />(it looks like this driver is newer than all those that have a generic, and I do not expect a problem when we add the driver.)<br />We do not have generic PCI\VEN_14E4&amp;DEV_4311</p><p>It is quite busy here.. I will be doing some computer rebuilds and so on..<br />anybody want to put up a testpack?</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Hi mr_smartepants,</p><p>The notebook has a wireless on/off button. when it is on it shows blue light, when off shows amber/orange light. After I installed XP, I tried to turn the switch ON, but it is not turning on (remained in amber/orange state)... originally in Vista... I was able to turn it on or off by pressing the button...</p><p>Now, in XP, when I press the button I get a message in HP wireless assistant that the Adapter is Disabled!</p><p>Any idea??</p><p>Thanx</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Is your wireless adapter turned on?<br />Sometimes there&#039;s a mechanical switch to enable/disable the wireless card (for airports).&nbsp; I ran into a problem once where the wireless driver refused to load unless the wireless was turned on.</p><p>Since it&#039;s on the PCI bus, and you&#039;ve got a PCI bridge, it might be hiding behind the PCI bridge.&nbsp; Try installing the Intel drivers for your chipset <a href="http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=N&amp;ProductID=2800&amp;DwnldID=15282&amp;strOSs=44&amp;OSFullName=Windows*%20XP%20Professional&amp;lang=eng">here</a> and see if it shows up.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Hi,</p><p>The problem is that I don&#039;t see any &#039;wireless&#039; adapter in :device manager&gt;network adapter... the only device I see there is a &quot;Realtek RTL8139/810x Family Fast Ethernet NIC&quot;...
