			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Reloaded SP3 and checked the driver file. Tried to revert to previous version but there was none.&nbsp; About 5 minutes in, got BSOD with STOP.<br />I checked the drivers folder - the driver has the same date as original.<br />One other thing to check- back out SP3 and see if it is stable for longer than 10 minutes (i&#039;ll let it go for a few hours).<br />Next is to get smart on a few terms and use of DriverPacks BASE, etc.(SIS Ref Driver?, SAD folder?). 			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>You might try updateing the driver either by useing a SIS reference driver<br /> or you could use DriverPacks BASE to create a SAD folder with our DriverPack MassStorage then run DP_Inst_tool.cmd.</p><p>The most likely primary cause is your Firmware version on the si3112.<br />the newest versons of the si3112 driver do not support the older firmware.<br />It is also possable (I don&#039;t remember for sure) that SP3 includes a newer 3112 driver. (that is not backward compatable with your chipsets firmware.)</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>I didn&#039;t install using the Driverpacks; I used what was on the ASUS Utilities CD.<br />I should note that this computer was running a mirrored RAID setup until a couple of days ago (5+years, minimal problems other than lots of &quot;filler&quot; all over the place.&nbsp; It needed to be flattened and reloaded. <br />I did that to only one of the HDD&#039;s, the other I haven&#039;t touched; i.e. currently the reload is not a RAID setup.</p><p>Here are the HWIDs:<br /></p><div class="codebox"><pre><code>===========

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Hello guys, Great site!&nbsp; I ran into a problem that appears has been solved in reading this thread.&nbsp; I have an A7n8x-E deluxe MB which has SataLink controller using SI3112r driver.&nbsp; I&#039;m not using the RAID option. Loaded XPSP3 and I get BSODs.&nbsp; Rolled back to SP2 and no problems.<br />Jaak - I realize this is almost 2 years old... but did this driver get updated (see 2-08-08 post)?&nbsp; I could not find it in the mass storage driver packs.<br />Thanks!</p>]]></content>

PnP would still find the driver. In TXTmode, I find ash1205 and megaIDE which also have silicon 3112 HWIDS)</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Hello, my english isn&#039;t ... you will see ;-)</p><p>I&#039;m having an Asus A7N8X-E Deluxe Motherboard.</p><p>GerÃ¤teeigenschaften&nbsp; &nbsp; <br />GerÃ¤tebeschreibung&nbsp; &nbsp; RAID-Controller<br />Hardwarekennung&nbsp; &nbsp; PCI\VEN_1095&amp;DEV_3112&amp;SUBSYS_61121095&amp;REV_01<br />Positionsinformationen&nbsp; &nbsp; PCI-Bus 1, GerÃ¤t 11, Funktion 0<br />PCI-GerÃ¤te&nbsp; &nbsp; Silicon Image SiI 3112 SATARaid Controller</p><p>I actually made an XPSP3 CD with the newest DPBase Massstorage Drivers ONLY txtmode integration.</p><p>When I tryed to install from CD I got this damn Stop 0x000...7B Message.<br />So I tryed to load the driver from Floppy but I think the driver integrated was newer so that was no solution.</p><p>Then I had a look what driverpackbase changes on the CD and did the following.<br />I copied the contend of my new XPSP3 CD to my harddisc. and removed all entries guiding to the si3112.sys and 3112RX47.sys<br />I also removed the winnt.sif and the $OEM$ Folder. 			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>I spent way to much time dealing with this and went out and got a new computer instead.</p><p>Installed XP on the new computer&#039;s SATA drive, no problem.</p><p>Installed Ubuntu on the trouble computer, no problem.</p><p>Everything is working now, and I can finally get some sleep.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Hi,<br />you have the driver on floppy.<br />(Which version? can you post a download link?)</p><p>what can you try?<br />you can use nLite and integrate ONLY that floppy onto fresh copy of install CD.<br />Nothing else.<br />No DriverPacks at all.<br />Try to get running with that.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Burned through about 10 more CDs today with no luck.&nbsp; If I can even get far enough I still get the BSOD.</p><p>I figured out a way to jimmy rig a floppy drive in there to try to load the drivers using the F6 method.&nbsp; Drivers load okay, installation proceeds, recognizes the drive, and everything looks great.&nbsp; Upon trying to copy the install files to the drive, I get a prompt to put the &quot;Silicon IMage Sil 3x12 SATALink Driver Installation Disk into drive A:&quot;&nbsp; When I hit enter, it does not read from the disk or the CD rom, just sits there.&nbsp; I confirmed with the manufacturer that I am using the correct drivers, XP install just doesn&#039;t seem to hold onto them, nor can it find them again.</p>]]></content>
